Paris To London

Depart the beautiful city of Paris on board the blue and gold carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Travel to the French coast and after your channel crossing the gleaming carriages of the British Pullman await you for your journey through the Kentish countryside to your destination, London Victoria.

Boarding the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Paris Gare de l'Est station, a delicious brunch is served in the restaurant cars as you travel on towards the Channel. After the channel crossing join the cream and umber carriages of the Pullman train for the journey to London. A traditional English afternoon tea accompanied by a glass of champagne is served to you at your table and you watch the gentle scenery of Kent pass by. Suddenly, you are drawing into London’s Victoria station. It may be the end of your journey but the memories will last a lifetime.

London to Venice

From the moment you set foot aboard the beautifully restored Pullman cars from London to Folkestone, this legendary journey will begin to work its magic upon you. Relax over champagne and lunch, enjoy a taste of the luxury which lies before you....After a short crossing on the Eurotunnel the real adventure begins.

The immaculately restored Wagons-Lit carriages of the Orient-Express await you. Beautiful inlaid wood panelling, plush furnishings and every attention to detail make the train a truly delightful setting for the journey ahead. After you have settled into your comfortable private compartment it is time to dress for dinner (all meals are included on the train). Served in the beautiful restaurant cars, the delicious four course dinner is prepared by skilled French chefs.

After dinner, linger in the bar car whilst being entertained by the baby grand piano. In the meantime the train is heading towards Paris, then on through the Alps. When you are ready, retire to your compartment which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.

Awake on the second day of your journey in the glorious surrroundings of the Swiss Alps as breakfast is served to you in your compartment. While away the morning chatting to fellow guests and enjoy the stunning scenery. Lunch is another opportunity to savour the fine cuisine on board.

Later on, afternoon tea is served as the train journeys through the Italian Dolomites and the Brenner Pass. All too soon it is time to disembark as the train arrives in Verona or Venice, where a transfer is provided to take you to your selected hotel.

Rome to Venice

Alternatively, you could stay in Rome first, allowing you to enjoy a night on the Orient-Express as it travels northeast across Italy toward Venice. In the morning , a delicious continental breakfast is served in your compartment before the train arrives in Venice.
