After the channel crossing join the cream and umber carriages of the Pullman train for the journey to London. The immaculately restored Wagons-Lit carriages of the Orient-Express await you. Beautiful inlaid wood panelling, plush furnishings and every attention to detail make the train a truly delightful setting for the journey ahead. After you have settled into your comfortable private compartment it is time to dress for dinner (all meals are included on the train). Served in the beautiful restaurant cars, the delicious four course dinner is prepared by skilled French chefs.
After dinner, linger in the bar car whilst being entertained by the baby grand piano. In the meantime the train is heading towards Paris, then on through the Alps. When you are ready, retire to your compartment which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.
Awake on the second day of your journey in the glorious surrroundings of the Swiss Alps as breakfast is served to you in your compartment. While away the morning chatting to fellow guests and enjoy the stunning scenery. Lunch is another opportunity to savour the fine cuisine on board.
